They are Race Attack. The commercial tires. I've sold about 200 so far. We bought over 600 from Conti.

This is similar to how Michelin marketed the Power One. There was a commercial tire (street/trackday) and a DOT race tire with compound selection.

We had prototypes for testing of both lines back when the Race Attack came out and were thinking about adding Conti to our race line since we already sold all their street tires. In the end, we decided to focus just on Michelin at the track.

Conti had a huge line changeover this year with the Blitz, Tour, Road Attack, Sport Attack and now the Race Attack. We bought all of them. We did not have access to the full race tires as we arer not a race tire vender. Degsy would have had dibs on those closeouts due to his status.

Well, those are the Conti Race Attack Street. Having ridden on the Conti Race Attack DOT, Conti Sport Attack Street, and Conti Road Attack Street I would expect these tires to offer phenomenal grip, above average durability and excellent feel. May need slightly longer warm up times compared to say a Rosso Corsa II tire, because in general Conti's have more rubber on the tire (and yes, subsequently weigh more), but they last considerably longer (from my personal experience). Dave, do you have any of these in a 160 rear by chance? May be the next tire for my ST2.

Yeah, I read it, but was a little unclear how they performed on the street. An online review I read said that they were a little slick at the colder temperatures and I'd be putting them on the R1 for strictly street use. Just want to make sure they work well on the street before buying.

I bought a set. I didn't see it being a street tire. I thought it was just a DOT track tire.

It is a street / trackday tire. It was built with both uses in mind. Similar to the commercial Michelin Power One, they can do both well but are a softer compound. They will not last as long on the street as a dedicated street tire like the Sport Attack.

That sale is over, but I sold about 50 sets so it was all good.

I will have a huge Michelin Power One sale, hopefully within three weeks. All the race tires, not the commercial stuff.

The new Michelin race line intro is in Vegas tomorrow. I dropped Sto off at the airport this afternoon.

You will see the Power Cup as the new Michelin DOT line for 2012.
