    anyone try to do this to you??

    So I need to bring my own helmet to the MSF course, no biggie, i am going to get a bike sometime soon so i'll buy one...i fell in love with the Shoei RF-900 Chimera, so that's what i got, found a sweet deal on them too...
    anyway i was showing some of my friends last weekend and one of them asked to see in on me...sure that's no biggie but as soon as i get it on, one of my friends tried to whack me in the head...he missed and i told him to never do that again...
    Then on saturday the same thing happened, i had it on and another buddy tried to hit me...i got pissed cause 1) it's my helmet that i paid for, if they want to hit a helmet go by their own, and 2) i've read articles saying that dropping helmets or applying as little as like 8 pounds of pressure can crush the EPS foam inside and make the helmet useless in a crash....
    Anyone else have this problem, people trying to hit them in the head just because you are wearing your helmet? I know my buddies don't know jack about bikes, but it seems to me to be a no brainer (no pun intended) to leave someone's helmet alone...

    All the fucking time!
    I just figure it'll hurt them more than the helmet.
    It's also a prefect opportunity to wack them up side the head and say "Huh, you should'a been wear'in a helmet! Huh huh."

    That is not cool. A helmet can get damaged that way. I'd not want to spend $300 on a helmet only to have it wrecked by some idiot.
