Akra exhaust install w/ PHOTOS & VIDEO

Got the exhaust in yesterday and installed it when I came home from work. I also removed the SET valve at that time as well. The video doesn't do it justice. It sounds awesome! Can't wait to take it for a ride.

The video compares the stock exhaust, Akra w/ insert, and Akra w/o insert as well as showing the difference between the SET valve being used and it being wide open all the time. Watch it in HD (once available) for the best quality.

I'm curious, what's the point of the whole stubby /short exhaust thing? (or whatever that kind of exhaust is called). Is there better performance out of it or is it just strickly for looks? I have no experience with those types of exhaust

What he said. It is a huge chunk lighter than the stock setup. I also wanted it for looks. I am not a huge fan of the side mount exhausts that are long. Some bikes pull it off, some don't. I prefer shorty or undertail. Plus, this sounds awesome so that helps some.

MotoMummy had a special going on and I got the full exhaust for like 920 which isnt bad. I also have the Bazzaz on there thanks to Noel (GixxerJockey)

Still working that issue. Kitt is sending me a new speedo wire and hopefully that solves the problem.

Guys I'm trying to remember if the 06's came with Titanium headers stock from the factory. I looked up the full exhaust for this and they come with stainless steel headers. If the stock ones are titanium, i'd rather keep that on verses putting on stainless steel headers which weigh more.
