Anybody have any experience with the gel pads they sell?

I can't decide if I want just a plain sheep skin or sheep skin + gel. I am leaning toward the gel because the Corbin that I have on the Sprint is really REALLY hard (I've never seen or felt a seat this hard) and I want to make sure the butt burn I get on my upcoming 6,400 mile trip is as manageable as possible. Would gel on top of really hard foam be a good combination?
It's either that one or this one

Keith, FYI, the pads you keep linking are smaller ones for pillion seats. You would actually need this one:

I measured my seat, and it is only 13" X 11" at it's widest point, so that's what I was using just as a reference point.

Well I sent than an e-mail asking about the gel seat on the Sprint, and this is the reply that I got:
So I guess that makes the decision easy (plus it saves me money). Pretty cool customer service, I'll be making a template this week and sending in the order for just a short haired sheep skin cover. It will still make a big difference I'm sure. The gel pads won't work because the clip position. Gel is also hard. Just
the sheepskin pad alone should make a big difference. Why don't you send a
template and I'll cut a pad to fit the top seating surface of your saddle?

I have the Triumph gel seat on my Sprint, and I use just the sheepskin pad for trips. It does make a difference and it doesn't get hot like the gel seat does.

Just got the custom sheep skin cut to the template I made and it came out great. Adds a little bit of cushion, which is really welcomed with this Corbin seat. Easy to remove as well. And it was only $60 shipped, which is pretty good IMO. Definitely recommend these types of pads if you want a little bit more comfort out of your existing seat.
