Almost didn't make it to work today. Took me over 40 minutes to get to my office which is about 10 miles from home.
Why??? ....because the weather was too damn nice to leave the bike sitting on the parking deck. So I kept taking laps :-)
The ride to work today was a dream, the air was cool and the traffic was moving at whatever pace. Waved at some pre schoolers, rode into Hopkinton State Park, watched the birds play in the water...
heartache..oh well do it again tomorrow..*Grin
What was your ride to work today like?
Actually, it sucked. Heavier than normal traffic, left a few minutes later than I typically do and got stuck behind the school bus pace car, solar glare, etc. Monday was much better. Glad you had a good commute, gotta love those days. I did find myself using the heat grips this morning though, getting old and like the pampering.
It totally sucked. I haven't really slept in 3 days, I have a massive track hangover, and my stomach is in knots after an unfortunate event late last night. There's not enough coffee in Massachusetts this morning to lift my ass off the ground. It's dragging hard.

My "ride" this morning was unfortunately on 4 wheels - I have to get the oil/filter changed on the way home from work. Glad someone's enjoying the day!
On the drive in this AM, Rt 9 merges from 3 to 2 lanes after an intersection. I see an older model standard bike (wasn't able to see which) come flying up in the 3rd lane on the right. Where I was, the lanes had already merged - it was totally down to 2 lanes. I see this fool coming, and inch over to the left of my lane to give him room so I don't kill him, and he flies past me. At the next light, I warned him that if I was a "normal" motorist, he probably would've gotten crushed as he tried to squeeze through b/c they wouldn't have been looking for a bike nor given him the little bit of extra space. He apologized for his maneuver, but I wasn't after an apology. I was trying to help the fool not get killed by someone else.

I take the train to work. It sucks, every morning.
A man of many names...Jay, Gennaro, Gerry, etc.
It was a little chilly, but it'll be worth it when I get out of here at 4.
What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
First you screw, then you bolt.
Sucked, first day of school for the kiddies in bristol and I had to drive down metacom avenue to work (if you've ever been in the east bay RI you know the hell I experience every day), ended up 20 mintues late![]()

Zoom, I decided to take the bike in to work, and it was a nice easy ride. Had a chance to bust off the pike early and take the inside roads to get downtown... I'll be making some detours on the way home too!![]()
My morning commute was from my dining room to my leather recliner and laptop in my living room. Was pretty painless, but a bike ride would have been welcome too; perhaps tomorrow.
School started up again.
Gotta get up another 10 minutes earlier just to have my normal commute :\
I cant ride to work and it pisses me offf...
