I still can't believe Aoyama didn't go down...the pictures make it look at lot worse than the original and replay did...
After watching the replay, I thought perhaps Bautista was trying to complete the race two-up. I was amazed that Aoyama didn't go down, especially after seeing it on both onboard feeds.
But, uh, can we put a kibosh on spoilers in thread titles, especially in General, please? There's a spoiler thread over in Pit Area, where we also have the nice sticky about not posting spoilers. I know the race was on Speed last night, but I don't think I'm the only one who has a habit of watching stuff on tape-delay. Thanks.

Yeah, looks like Ayama (?) ran the first corner a little wide and wasn't able to accelerate out of it as NEARLY as well as Bautista & still be on line for the next corner... Compare the two lines through that right hander just before the crash.
