I am looking for a good helmet/jacket combo

I currently have an AGV MotoGP replica helmet from a few years back and an Icon Motorhead jacket from a few years back. The two together don't seem to be working well. The helmet seems to extend lower in the back than any of my previous helmets and the jacket seems to be a little loose perhaps. The jacket fits fine when standing around and fits good when on the bike, but the collar seems to pop up a little bit and interferes with the back of the helmet making it difficult to turn my head and look around sometimes. I love the fit of the helmet, but the jacket and helmet together just don't seem to work.

I am looking for some suggestions of Helmet/Jacket combos that have worked for you guys on the street. How are the Scorpion helmets? I tried one on last year and it felt pretty good, but I don't know much about them.

Scorpian are one of the best fitting helmets around for the american intermediate oval, other than arai of course. They don't move air for poop though unfortunately. They're great for colder weather though. Most of the icon jackets have a relaxed cut so they're comfortable standing around that's why your collar is popping lol. My teknic is like that my helmet squeeks against it every time I do a head check. As far as other suggestions id need more info you looking for cheap or best fit? There are still some arai closeouts right now online. You can get an arai right now for around 3-400. And there are a bunch of jacket closeouts.

I am looking for best fit, not to cheap out.(not that I am opposed to saving money on closeout deals!) I tend to keep my stuff for a long time so I don't mind paying for it as long as it all works right.

It is a Rossi replica probably from 4 yrs ago. I am asking the question due to the fact that I am looking to replace the helmet and jacket this winter as I agree it is time for a new helmet. The last two seasons have been really light seasons for me and haven't gotten out as much so the helmet didn't see much action over the last two years.

I just ordered an arai vector from www.motorcyclecloseouts.com for 300 dollars. They also have a bunch of 09 bell star helmets on sale right now for 2-300 dollars. And there are a bunch of shoei helmets on closeout every where. If your gonna get a new helmet I'd do it now. Everything is on close out because the companies are releasing their 2010 snell models. Pretty much the main top 4 two. Arai shoei bell and shark, all are moving there 09 stuff. What head shape are you?
