I have always owned Fieldsheer pants and jackets, so they always zip together. But are all 8" zippers for different gear manufacturers the same size?
Will an Alpinestars jacket zip into a Fieldsheer pant? I am replacing the pants I was wearing during the accident with the same model, as I can get them for $150, shipped. But don't know which jacket I want to get. I don't want the same I had, which is a Fieldsheer Flex. The hump is too big in the back. It makes the jacket rise up if I'm not wearing a pair of pants that it's zipped to.
Anyone?![]()
I would imagine they would not be the same. There are tons of different zipper styles, and I don't think everyone would use the same one.
If they're not compatible you can always sew in one that is.

Definitely not all compatible, the pitch can vary, as well as which end they zip from.
