Old Android phone + Copilot Live Premium = Awesome (motorcycle) GPS?

Just found this and wondering if anyone has tried this out. I'm planning on converting my old and almost dead Droid X into a full time GPS device for turn by turn navigation (handlebar mount?).

This app promises a lot. But the two things that grabbed my attention are..

1) Offline maps !
2) Personal routes !

= perfect motorcycle GPS? Almost too good to be true. If it indeed works as described, all I need is a waterproof RAM mount.

NP. If this is good enough it could finally solve the issue with creating custom maps (twistys?!) .
