    slip on advice

i have a 07 R6 and with some extra tax rebate money i was looking into maybe a slip on. did a search here and found L/V to be a good suggestion but was wondering if there was any new info i could get out of anyone. i'm not looking for loud or obnoxious but something deeper and i do like the two bros and fmf look, just the look, i've read that they arent that great. anyway any advice would be appreciated

    Re: slip on advice

Leo's are very nice & seem to be a great value. I've got one on my SV but it's been cut down a bit. Sounds great though.

If I hadn't found a sick deal on my Akra slip-on, I was likely gonna go with a Leo for my Aprilia.

    I say go for it.

Welll have three R6's running HINDLE exhausts (not slip-ons, but you'll get the idea) this year. If you can wait a month, feel free to stop by the track and visit us in the MOTOADDICTION garage.

I have a L/V but it's not a slipon, it's the link pipe which replaced my catalytic converter (Woodsy) Anyway, it's a beautiful piece of pipe and made very well. I'm quite happy with it. Thanks Greg & Company!

It'll run with out a remapping and it may not run bad. Do you have a power commander or something similar in there now? A custom map will yield the best results every time.

If you go with the 2bros exhaust and one of these, you may get away with no dyno tuning, saving some $$$. http://www.twobros.com/cgi-bin/shopp...on&key=008-146

right about the same price a Power Commander and if it was me I'd rather go with the PC for the added tuning functionality.

PC would certainly be more useful if he changed exhaust systems later on......

I like my Graves system on my R1, Doesnt seem to be a very popular brand though. It is a bit on the loud side when high in the revs, but not to many are quite. Never once had a issue with police as far as noise.

+1 on the L/V though......I had a Two Bro's and although I loved the sound it did get quite a bit loud/annoying on longer rides

B boy...I've got a Hindle slip-on. Nice deep tone w/o being a nuisance. Full or slip-on, take yer pick.

On the other hand, now that I see you made your decision, Akra's are nice...

When my V&H carbon fibers fell apart I went with Microns. Nice and throaty on my V-Twin and there was no change in performance from the V&H to them.
