Neat stuff. Prices seem a bit unrealistic, though.

This guy has sold a few Bimotas in the last couple years....
I will own a Bimota someday. Hopefully a DB7
Bimotas are all beautiful and desirable, too often seriously flawed.
I remember, back in the '90's, being hot for the SB6, due to that lovely direct frame -- one straight (from the side) beam directly from the steering head to the swingarm mount. Just beautiful.
The V-Due had a lot of promise, and reputedly you can actually make them go right now, but it's a real money pit to do it -- it needs new engine cases, among other things, to run right. I did see one at the IMOC show in MA the year before last, and heard it run. If I was very rich, I might get one and make it go, but I'd have to have a lot of extra money burning a hole in my pocket.
The Tesi-3D I also wanted very much, until I started seriously looking, and found out that the frame design required the engine to come out in order to check the valves. Combine that flaw with the fact that it has a desmo Ducati engine that requires frequent valve checks, and suddenly it's ridiculously expensive to actually ride it -- like 50 cents a mile just for the valve checks.
Harumph. I don't mind some extra effort for an exotic machine, but I want something that is designed by engineers that are smarter than that.

I remember seeing 3 Canadian riders on the top of Mt Wachusett one day, way back when. Two of them were on a matching pair of CB1100R's. The other was on an RZV500R. Gawd I lusted after those bikes that day. Now I have my R1. LUST COMPLETE (for now)
