For me...well....after my crazy day the night ended up being quite productive. I installed the new altenator in my van (we will find out if I did it right today, I am driving to RI!!), got the oil changed on the RR and the road tar off the lowers, cleaned the chain and sproket, got rid of the blazer that had become a planter in the yard, gave away my take offs and helped my neighbor tack weld a bracket!!!!

I do wear a full cage! The guy was 4 or 5 inches taller than me so his cross check was up onto my helmet puhing the front edge of the helmet into my nose.

Do you really want a picture? I'll try to remember tonight. It looed much worse last night when I skated back out still bleeding and blood on my face. I have the team highlighted on my Schedule and #14 on "My List" It's Go Time...

This sucks, I have to wear safety glasses while on my shop floor and the cut is right were the bridge of the glasses should sit... Ouuch...

last time i got high sticked playin hockey it was by my friend (the high stick was VERY much accidental, he felt horrible) while we were playin in the street by his house.... i ended up with seven stitches going UP my left nostril....... INSIDE my nose..... talk about SUCK! I was completely white knuckling the sides of the gurney when they were puttin em in AND takin em out because the guy tied em so fuckin tight to reduce scaring.

Last night while it was still opened it did look like it needed a few stitches, At least thats what the guys on my team were telling me. I looked in the mirror in the rink, it was pretty deep but I was sure I could fixer up as long as the bandaids I had could hold it closed all night! & it did..

That looks painful, hope it heals up soon. Looks like if you keep it clean, bandaged and use some neosporin it won't leave much of a mark. May you find that guy on the ice next time!
