I've heard the resale value of the RSV's suck so with the question I'm about to ask, forget book value
What's a 2001 RSV1000 worth with 6k miles, flat black and "said" to be in excellent condition?
Would anyone be intersted in a bike like this if I happen to get ahold of one?

5500 is about it's value
It's an awesome machine but hard to sell,
if your buying it to turn it over try and get it cheaper

aprilias are hard to sell.
took me forever to get rid of the falco... it was tuned to match a mille for power and it was much sexier!

Great bike but you'll need to wait for the right buyer to get that amount. Listing it on eBay motors is a good idea with bikes like that because it is more likely someone who REALLY wants a priller finds it.

Post it on the for sale section in apriliaforums as well, many bikes sold there. Aprilia is not the right bike to try to make a profit on, just ask all the dealers that have dropped the brand

I've heard the headstocks on the '00 and '01's have a habit of breaking at the welds and kinda ruining yer day.......

Yeah, I think I'm going to pass on this deal. Everything I've seen and read says the resale value sucks. The guy wanted to trade it for my KTM450sx, I think it's going to be easier to sell the KTM than the Aprilia... and I don't want another sportbike for myself
