So...its new bike time, what do u guys think? Falco, tl 1000, sv 1000, or gsxr 750!? in terms of reliability and performance.. i really dont know, i am kinda leaning towards a falco as of now.
why does it say bretsv650 if you ride a 636???

Well what are you looking for in a bike? What's your experience level?
"You never see a motorcycle parked outside of a psychiatrists office"
What're you doing with the SV? looking to sell it?
Riding an Aprilia I can tell you that they are incredibly reliable. The falco is a beast with 105 rwhp great ergos and a decent starting price. They also are not far off the mille' when it comes to over all performance. They are a bit softer sprung than the Mille' but still it comes with Showa forks and a Sachs shock.
If you wanna good deal I can get one to you from the guys at Seacoast.
well i have been riding 3000 miles, and push my sv pretty hard in the turns,i just want something that will be a little quicker in the higher rpms and have a fairing.but i also want a good street bike.i plan to race this summer too.(penguin racing school next month)
Yes, i am selling my sv!

Is that 3000 miles total riding experience, ever?
The falco or the SV1000 might be the best choice.
The GXSR will just make you want to Squid all of the time. Thats my #1 reason for not having one.
three thousand WHOLE miles?
hell... i had something like 8 on mine, plus however much on the nighthawk, and still consider myself a noob.

The only "intuitive" interface is the nipple.
i am a noob.. i jsut want something better.. better brakes, better suspension, fairing... i actually use alot of my bike,i just want somethnig a little nicer.i keep up fine in the twisties even pass some of the guys who have been riding alot longer, i think its cuz i have been riding dirt bikes my whole life.

just be careful when getting used to the new *powerband* (read: the entire damn range of engine RPM's on the falco) i have first hand knowledge it will punish you if you try to ride it like a dirt bike.

The only "intuitive" interface is the nipple.
yes. it also has this neat ability to help you clear your lungs especially well... when it wheelies unsuspectingly fast.

they also have a tendency to come down sideways from stoppies.

The only "intuitive" interface is the nipple.
there is no proof of that one.

3000 miles and you want more power. I suppose this is why people buy liter bikes to begin with...

Heres a condom. I figured since youre acting like a dick, you should dress like one too.
135MPH, indicted, pushing 120 max.
Are you guys saying the Max speed on the SV is 120 ?
My Ducati is about 145 top speed. Anyone can go fast in a straight line, I dont even think they hit that speed on the straight away at the NHIS track.

I've had my nekid SV up to 128.6 in 5th. flat highway no wind, calibrated Sigma.
120-125 is prolly max for the nekid model in 6th. the SVS has a little better areodynamics, and prolly can do a little better than 130
