I need a new pressure plate for my Mille, the clutch slips at the track, known bug from Aprilia that they won't cover under a recall. Where would you go???

Have you talked to Jesse at Seacoast? He has all sorts of remedies.. the on vacation until the 2nd however.

The only "intuitive" interface is the nipple.

Hey G-man, this was a common problem with the 2000 model year.Aprilia did'nt recognize the problem until 2001 when they came out with the pressure plate upgrade.They also called and made the fix for 'racing use' there by allowing them to not cover it under warranty.There are fixes for the problem such as sanding the plates but the upgrade is the way to go from what i've heard.There is some good info at www.apriliaforum.com,check it out.The guys up at New England Motorsports seem like good people to deal with but i have no experience with them. I guess its the 3-5th of Jan. from 11:00 til 11:00 I will be working on Saturday and Sunday at the Aprilia Booth with the guys from Seacoast.
As for the pressure plate issue.. I have never had a problem and lord knows I aint easy on mine.
