Any recommendations for tires on a 2008 Honda CBR600RR? I've gotta get new tires and I'd like to hear some advice from my fellow New England-ers.
I love Michelin, i have pilot Power 2's and there great, only negative is they take a while to warm up especially in weather under 50 degrees, i would recommend trying the power Pures, everyone says there way better then the power 2's and there not to much more expensive

a lot of variables and all comes down to personal opinion.
My 2 cents
I've been running Bridgestone Bt-016's and like them a lot. They seem to warm up quick which is a big + for me cause i ride whenever it goes above 40. I havnt had any traction problems at all including the grooved pavement on and off ramps i've had to use every day for like 2 weeks now . . . . .
I ran Michelin Pilot Power 2ct's on my ZZR last season. A lot of people love them and traction wise i never had a problem but i just dont like the way they feel. Also they seemed to take a while to warm up and i had a few scary stops on my way to work
so
Bt-016
Pilot Powers 2ct's
Something along those lines . . or what ever u want lol

I actually only do street riding. I've never been to the track, but might want to someday.
Perhaps consider track-oriented tires when you are ready for the track because they won't do you any good on the street other than producing a short life-span because of the generally soft compounds.
Might wanna cruise the Boston Moto shop and check out the pricing of the street Contis.

I've had Pilot Powers on two of my bikes and they seem to grip good, you can get a set delivered for like $250 and the mileage seems to be fine doing road riding. They warm up pretty fast, too.
