windscreen tinting question

I just ordered a Givi windscreen for my AK550, clear was all they had in stock,

Has anyone ever put tint film on a windscreen ? advice on having it professionally done... Not looking for dark, maybe 10%-15%

cheap enough, order up some 3m tint, a squeeegee, youtube video and give it a go, worse case you remove it and lost $15 and an hour of retirement...

I dunno, that is why I'm asking question, plus being more exposed to elements than inside a car window... or is it applied on outside ?

yes, I watched a couple youtube videos so far, on applying film/vinyl and saw that there were videos about spray-on but haven't watched yet, I'm hesitant to use spray for fear of a shitty job, unevenness, runs (I don't do well with rattle cans)

You can buy pre-cut tints for your car on eBay. I tried applying off a roll in high school and failed miserably. I got the pre-cuts and it was significantly easier and still relatively cheap

I think I'd just spray it. Applying film with the curves and the screw holes would be too much effort for me.
