On really hot days, I just soak my T shirt in the sink before I ride and then open the vents on my suit. The evaporative cooling is very effective (if I'm moving) at keeping me comfy and it's good for about 1.5 hours.

I wonder if that hose detaches if you crash. The last thing you would want is a 50lb AC unit smashing you in the back if you fell off the bike.
