a YSS ME-210 shock has been recommended for my K-Pipe, anyone familiar with this Thai company ? the shock would be a better spring rate for my lard ass, and give me preload adjustments

They are pretty popular in europe as upgrades to the smaller cc bikes there. I had a set on my lexmoto 125 and they did what they say they did. They still worked fine after 15k miles but the anodizing faded badly. I also dont think they are user serviceable if they ever need more than adjustment.

that is what I concluded, the person who recommended it to me is from Italy, seems they have shocks for the Grom & Z125 that are popular too, that you can get from suppliers in the US

It's a very popular shock upgrade for the CRF250L bikes. Lots of people have them on advrider and have been very happy. YSS makes quality stuff.

shock I ordered wasn't in stock, changed my order to same shock with remote reservoir

Shock is on it's way from Thailand, just got e-mail with tracking number

tracking just says "in transit 3 days" , I think means by water buffalo to the airport

Made it to Singapore, now it should get on an airplane.

finally, done with the water buffalo transport, in Chicago today, tracking says delivery on 25th, but I don't think till 26th

maybe not, I normally don't do my own work, except real simple stuff, I replaced the mirrors, and just yesterday, the shifter, in doing that I had to get the footpeg out of the way, and discovered that both footpegs are one solid piece bolted to the bottom of the motor, so now I am on the prowl for something that folds up and has feelers, in the peg department, should be standard for any pitbike

just not sure if I still have the range of motion to extend my arthritic knee beyond the angle of that solid footpeg

well, didn't arrive on the 25th, or 26th, no tracking updates since arrival and processing thru Customs in Chicago. yes, I'm getting anxious, it's interfering with my retirement
