I know people hate on trikes but that's awesome!
Amazingly, that isn't a trike... The side wheels are "deployable". It's a motorcycle with optional "training wheels" (for lack of a better term).
A less fancy version of...
Doh! I didn't enlarge the picture on my phone, are those deployable? Even more awesome, I'm guessing they are of the older variety but live it the fuck up.
I've seen pics of them with special tow systems and used as tow trucks for cars in Sweden I think it was. Pretty amazing bikes, able to tow that weight and still handle as well as bikes 200lbs less.
Between the heat, radio, navigation, communication systems all on the 'wing, plus the fact that it's got a trike kit, towing equipment and lets not forget a boat, I'd rather just take my car. Seems like way less of a hassle when it comes time to actually load and unload the boat.
I still like seeing all these ridiculous 'wing creations though.
Hmmmm. Imagine launching that? Or getting it out of the water? I've had 4 wheel drive SUVs get stuck yanking a boat out on a slippery steep cement ramp. And most of the time I'm launching off what amounts to be a beach you back down until you're almost up to the rear axle in water.
Cool - Yes. Neat - Yes. Practical - Not even close.
Maybe they just get a bunch of guys to lift it?
it's a friggin row boat not the queen mary... you can pick it up and carry it to the water.![]()
I used to tow with a 1.8L myself. Mine was just a 4-banger though.
