My only true cross-country ride was on an '86 Virago 1100 in the late 90's. Amazing bikes; I wish they'd reissue a version with the exact same geometry but with updated brakes and EFI. Those drinking-straw fork tubes could be beefed up a little too, but otherwise "it ain't broke."
