Needs work, but seems like it could be a nice project for the right wrench here.

That won't last long. If I had the space in a heartbeat.. owned/raced one. Underpowered stock but tons of knowledge to make a really nice bike.

Hah! Her boyfriend is Mark Reynolds, who has been around the racing scene for a long time. He used to operate a shop in Woodstock, CT that I got parts from. Great guy!

possible project for one of you motivated mechanics, minimal detail & i'm no expert, but it appears to be a 2 stroke RD400
The price on the Victory seems pretty decent too. The Vegas was high on my list before I bought the Low Rider. They went for $16K - 20K new and are probably fetching about $5K at least for around that year. $3500 is short money to dip your toes into the power cruiser segment.
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Friend had one when they 1st came out. Lots of body panels to remove if you needed to do any work on them. That looks very clean and lo milage, but if you drop one today body parts are almost imposable to find, 16-inch wheels limit rubber choses also. Classic ride though at a fair price.

HF lift table in northern CT for $375. Decent deal considering they’re now $550+tax
If I didn’t spend most of my free time on my vacation last week building one, I’d probably make that guy an offer.
