$500 NT650 Hawk in Rutland MA

Re: The Best bikes on Craigslist
I been looking at that hawk for a few days. It would be an expensive fix. So many parts are impossible to get in the tank and tail fairing. Probably a grand for just those two. Would make a decent parts bike for mine at $500

Not a bad deal for a sweet VFR that needs some work. Someone in NH can title it with ease

Almost positive it's fuel injected. I *THINK* they switched in early 2000's???

I believe that GSXR 750's were fuel injected from at least 1997 on
I have been corrected, 1998 was the first year of injection on the GSXR750

750 is not carbed. dunno what they're smoking but whatever it is, its keeping that bike super duper clean

Its fuel injected for sure. It wont hit 180 but the speedo will say 186 and start blinking. Actual speed will be about 175.
Lots of info wrong in that ads but its a nice bike. Makes me question the mileage with so much else being off but this is the one to get if your looking. Ranks right behind the 05-06 1000 in terms of modern collectability. $5k is all the money for it though. $4500 is much better and $4k would be the bargain.

1998 the 750 were injected.
2001 the 600 was injected.
the 1000 was always injected.

Might be a good VFR for that sort of project.

Barf, it's got all the standard 'cafe' fails:
- CV carbs with absolute shit tiny knock off K&N filters
- Clubman bars but no rearsets for optimal confused ergonomics
- Giant gaping hole in the frame just looking goofy
No actual 'cafe' bikes in period looked like this, bet they all functioned better too.

Looks like a no brainer for a Stromboli if there is paperwork

FZ6 for $1500 -- maybe just a loose rotor or sprocket or something or other or nothing to worry about? Hard to imagine one of these having a bad rod/crank at 10K miles, unless it was run without oil. At that price (or offer less), I'd just change the oil and filter and ride it.
"I felt something was wrong with the bike around August and had it looked at by 3 different shops. Two said it was fine and the last said it was potentially rod knock (hence why I’m selling for way less than I paid for)."

$1,500 for a 2001 VFR800 with 38,000 miles.

"New tires, new front and rear sprocket, new brakes, new clutch, new battery . Heli bars, 38,000 miles. Great bike, had it 5 years.Needs new kill switch.Rode it last weekend , wouldn't shut off with the kill switch. I'm not a mechanic minded man but I saw kill switch and ignition for about $200.00 bucks on amazon. should be an easy fix moving ,must sell"

If the motor isn’t blown someone can get a good daily out of this
