Yes, the CORTECH luggage set is waiting for you.
Yes, same experience at Manchester. The service desk gave me perfunctory service for recall re-flashes (bike ran much better). Then I recognized one of the mechanics as someone who worked at Triumph of Wellesley in the 1980s, so that was a human experience. Got the HD customers to talk to me if I started the conversation by complimenting their bikes. Otherwise, I was invisible.
On the price, mine wasn't $5K, but was discounted, and zero down, zero % financing IIRC.

And don't believe everything you think.
A buddy of mine had an 1125... I got to take it for a spin around NJMP. Fun bike, had an odd handling feel but otherwise went where I wanted it to go if I put some effort into it.
But HOLY SHIT!!! The HEAT!!! My foot was damn near boiled to medium rare in my own sweaty boot/boiling pot!![]()

It was never intended to be in production, there were only 500 hand built R7’s produced between 1999-2000. In 1999, a total of 50 R7’s were imported to the US, none in 2000. I don’t recall the actual numbers, but only a handful made it into the hands of the public here in the US. I was able to buy a new one in 2000, still regret selling it.

The first pic and the ones in the listing before the whole gallery are fucking awful. You didn't even get the whole bike in the featured pic you dunce.
Wow seems like a steal. Bet the seller wasn’t happy
They have or had a brand new zx12 on iconic, but located in Germany, with the buyer responsible for international shipping.
Frustrating being that Iconic is based in Cali, but so long as they collect the sale fee!

Yes, that's how the fairing works. I sold my '06 MTS1000S (the black one) here on NESR a couple of years ago. Lots to like on it, I liked the air-cooled simplicity (as usual) and all-around performance. Wasn't so fond of the 6K service interval for valve adjustment and belt replacement. But if you DIY service, not a problem. A good number of these had tank-swelling problems. Some were replaced warranty right away. Oh yeah, and some had valve guide wear issues that showed up too soon.
Full Ohlins on the "S" model. Classic Ducati dry-clutch sound on the MTS1000, can get louder than the exhaust lol and you can bling it up with an open cover for even more noise, colored pressure plate and so on ...
If I were looking for one, I'd look for the last air-cooled MTS1100 S model, 2009 model year IIRC (wet clutch, though, as Matt points out).

The Multi 1000 was dry clutch, the Multi 1100 was wet clutch

Yes, it’s a beauty. I rode my friend’s ‘93 years ago and it was nice and smooth.
It’s almost as nice as the one I am selling ;-)
