I saw this bike in person at the BMW/MOA rally. Pretty cool.

Guy I met on the Trans-Lab last year was riding this:
It's actually a modified Ninja 650R.
Over the winter he decided it wasn't good enough (or maybe he just got bored), so he built a new one:

Those Versi are nice little bikes fer the money. Came this ][ close to buying one once or twice.
That twisted throttle show bike is a little funny though. What is that? $3-4k worth of crap bolted to a bike that MSRP's at $6900?
...
Okay, okay, I admit it. I'd do it!
Yeah, I would have gone with wire wheels too (in fact, since he used DR-Z400 forks, I would have used the DR-Z's 21" front wheel), but Dave specifically wanted cast wheels so he could run tubeless for ease of repairing flats. He built the bike as a gravel runner, not a true offroader, so I can understand his point of view.
I still would have gone with spoked wheels though.

anyone know if the bike on twisted throttle's site has 17" front still? Looks like it might be. If so any idea what the tires are?
The other guy, Dave, should start a business changing those things over, nice work.

Those tires are probably tkc's.

The front wheel of the Twisted Throttle bike is clearly a 19" (look at the difference in inside diameters between the front and rear). The tires are Mefo Explorers.
