Bikes you regret selling??

I knew the TLR posts were coming... I will never understand.

On my own regrets list?
91 KDX200. I restored it then sold it for 800. Dumb.
2004 KTM 12sx. Really pretty and purposeful bike. Tried to kill me one too many times, but I miss it.
Honda RS125 GP bike. I was one with it. I wish it were in my living room.

That's it. so, all small bore 2 smokers. Hmmm... My garage is lacking.

Honestly, I got into my second TLR after owning my first for a few months before it got totaled and wanted to have another go at it.

By the time I got my second one, did a partial restore and was able to start riding it my shoulder was so far fucked and with the bike being as uncomfortable as it was, I was glad to see it go. I just found no real enjoyment in riding it.

I don't truly REGRET selling any motorcycles I've owned, I do however regret letting go of my BMX bikes from the early/mid 90's. With my son really into bicycles lately I was hoping to find some deals on old bikes like the ones I used to have but damn they got pricey. I must not be the only nostalgic guy out there.

Had a few GT's, Diamondbacks, Robinson's etc but my Redline Proline was by far my favorite. Looked just like this one:

My tl1000s was a ton of fun. That motor is one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of spinning up on the street! There's something about that twin and the torque and how easy the front comes up...

Garret the Busa is in good hands! I spent that first winter going through the bike OCD style - SS lines, geared down, new forks, rebuilt calipers/masters, plus a bunch of shit I am forgetting.

This bike has a serious appetite for tires.

Last winter I sent the injectors to Fla - bikes runs better than ever, turns out the injectors were well off. The plan for this winter is synch the TB, have a custom tune made and give the clutch some attention - I think the plates are showing their age.

I have had it to TN twice, I think it now has 29k on it. Currently commuting/freezing my ass off.

Long way from being kitty cornered and removing the exhaust to fit on a 4x8 trailer in upstate New York in October! I think it had 16k miles when I let it go. Good to see its a solid performer
