I'm considering a pair of real riding boots this winter, and wondering what boots are available for those of us with paddles at the end of the legs. I'm a 13-4E in my New Balance sneakers. I'll be stinking up some boots at dealers and Cycle Gear, but any advice is appreciated!

sidi vertigo's = skinny feet (so stay away)
joe rocket = may work for you.
A* = Some models are wider than others (sorry can't remember which one's)
oxtar = may also fit you depending on the model (i wear sidi's and one of the oxtar boots i tried once were really wide on me).

2020 Honda Grom
i have wide feet and i rock A*'s. They work great for us wide footed people.![]()
While not "real" motorcycle boots, Magnum Elite, 8" ,Style 5424 boots have worked very well for my 12EE feet. They are waterproof, tough, reasonably priced, and very comfortable. They come in EEE size, but not 4E. Something to look at if you cannot find exactly what you are looking for.
I have the Magnums, and I like them, I just wanted to try something a little more... motorcyclistish, I guess. If I can't find something, I'd be perfectly satisfied with the Magnums, though.Originally posted by stoinkythepig

the A* SMX-4 is a boot for wide-footed people, the SMX+ is for the narrower footed people (like me)
Try Oxtars. I have TCS ones. They are really comfy. My foot is probably somewhere in the middle of wide and narrow. Sizing on these go pretty much accurate on the same size as you wear your dress shoes. There's a good deal on motorcyclecloseouts.com on Oxtar boots. I got them for $129 shipped. EVO's are going for around $170 if I'm not mistaken.

I have super wide feet as well, and my Oxtars are great
