    Bottom Line Track Bodywork

So my yellow 749R bodywork sucks. AT NJ this week 2 holes let go and broke totally (lost the zuses somewhere as a result) and the faring was flapping in the breeze. I now have duct tape holding it together and covering all the fasteners. It never fit well and I hate the way it looks anyhow...

So, I'm going to buy a new set. I don't want crap even if its cheap. I am pretty much set on sharkskinz unless there is something else out there that people think is close in quality and a much better deal.

The sharkskinz are going to be 911.00 drilled and fitted with fasteners AND shipped (shipping is like 60 bucks). The bodywork is 795 on its own (currently 20% off)

    Thoughts on this?

ALSO - with the sharkskinz if thats what i go with, should I have them drill and fit the fasteners or is it risky in terms of fitting it up?

Ive never heard race bodywork fitting perfect. No matter the brand. Id still do the fitting and drilling yourself.

Check out Armour Bodies @ Woodcraft.

Got it on my SV... Very nice stuff & at a great price, too.

+1. I had great results with my Gix.
The CBR has Sharkskinz, so I'd say they're very close in terms of quality.

Armour Bodies are distributed in the US by Woodcraft so you could always see if you could pick them up directly. Shipping for bodywork is usually a lot of $$$.

    Re: Bottom Line Track Bodywork

my sharkskinz fit great, the dimples were in the right locations, and they crash well. it may be worth looking around for a used set already painted (red I hope) on the ducati forums, probly save some dough.

I've heard sembimoto is as good as sharkskinz, but I don't even know where you get the stuff or what bikes they make bodywork for.
