I need to pick up a few things and I'm getting kinda sick of calling around every shop in new england when I need parts to see if they have them. Half of the shops charge frieght too and they don't tell you that when you're ordering junk. I wanted to get a galfer brake kit, new lines and pads before friday. Does anyone know what shop might have them in stock, or where online I can order them to maybe get overnight or two day shipping?
Thanks kids
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
i have been going through the exact same thing...
no one seems to have shiite.
kneedraggers.com has the brake kits and sprockets i am looking for, but i am not sure if their prices are any good yet, so i am just riding the kwak as it is and i will look for parts over the winter.
kneedraggers has decent prices but they don't stock anything either. They have it shipped to them, then they ship it to you. Half the time what you order will be 'backordered' and it'll take forever to get it, they won't tell you that till they have your money though.

I ordered my SS Braided front/rear lines from http://www.cyclebrakes.com/
Got here quickly, and they even sent me out another banjo bolt when one snapped. It snapped at 10ftlbs![]()
I'd use them again for sure! That was early in the season though, supplies may be different now.

Hey Jay and Brent,
If there is something you absolutely want on your bikes for Friday, get in touch with Brian and maybe he can work some magic and get the stuff for you. I would try to take care of it but I am in Atlantic City until late Friday so I wouldn't be much help. We do alot of buisness with the parts department at Plaistow Powersports in Plaistow NH and the parts manager can usually help us out on rush parts and such. Definitely go through Brian though, hopefully he wont mind my telling you guys to call him on this, dont just call there and expect miracleswe have built a good relationship with them and if Brian calls and asks maybe they can help.
Good luck, have fun on Friday you bastards, wish I was going too.

i talked to him last week. my problem was i needed the parts last week, i dont have enough time to work on the bike between now and friday.
Thanks Joel!
I'm sure one of your roomates or friends could probably do a little wrenching for you if need be.
But I do understand the problem of finding time to work on your bike when work etc. calls. I can't even ride my damn bike this week and it is supposed to be beautiful all week. Oh well!

Glad they had them! I dont know about their 'regular' prices, the lines I got were on a group purchace, and their customer service was SUPERB. I've paid 10%+ just for piece of mind I was dealing with a legit place. I'll order from them againOriginally posted by hessogood
