Just curious if there is a comparable company to AAA when it comes to motorcycles breaking down. I've been fortunate enough to be able to help someone but haven't been on the Oh Shit! side of a breakdown. Is there a group or company that will haul a bike from the middle of nowhere to where you want it, if you can get phone service anyway.

First I've heard about the MOTOW. After hearing people that have needed a trailer I wondered what "most" would do in a situation may it be breakdown or falldown. If you're ever in need, and I'm not 200 miles away from the truck and trailer, I will be glad to help. I hope to ride with some of you one damn day. I guess I'll have to be more proactive in who's ridin where and when. Till then![]()

First off ... AAA does NOT tow motorcycles unless you buy the RV package that is in addition to the auto membership.
Motorcycle = RV <shrugs>
I have it and never used it but it is there when I need it.
I have both AAA and Good Sams. AAA is great if you have the gold membership, but for less money I went with G.S. because they will haul any vehicle reggied at my house. Including the 35' RV, my 4x4 truck, all my bikes. doesn't matter who is driving.
service is like 80 $$ a year

I have towing in my insurance. Haven't had a need to call, knock on wood, and want it to be that way- I guess they'd send someone that knows bikes.
