Throw a rock, hit a bike. Attempt to negotiate price of said bike down due to aforementioned rock damage. You really can't go wrong.
I would opt for quantity, rather than spending that whole amount on one bike. A small dual sport bike, an old vintage rat, and a decent $2500 street bike. JMO.
