This is probably old news for a lot of people but from what I understand Honda contacted Jesse James to build a cafe racer with their vtx motor. This thing is crazy...I love it. This is my kind of chopper..
Here is the link the the article in Cycle World

Is that a Honda VTX engine? Still, pretty sweet looking bike!!
Putting his hands in the air, like he just doesn't care.

Yup, a VTX1800 stuffed into a tiny custom frame. JJ was paid $250k to create the thing.

"hey Randy, do a wheelie!!"
Nice to look at, often these builders sacrifice function and comfort for looks and style.
For instance, it sure looks good but I wouldn't be comfortable with the function of those front brakes trying to slow down an 1800cc motorcycle.
We all know windscreens are absolutly useless to tuck behind...

I had a gsxr-600 that only had one brake in the front.....i bought it this way and actually still have the other caliper I was planning on putting on until I "broke" it.
Anyways it had braided lines and EBC's and I never had a problem stopping....it also wasn't an 1800. But it'll probably stop...beside how fast do you want to go on a bike ike that.
If you read the article in Cycle Crap Cruiser magazine, he also says that for rear suspension, it has an air bag setup from an auto and a STEERING DAMPER mounted vertically for rear suspension damping. Wonder how that thing handles, eh?
Cheers, Lee S.
I know i'm slow, you don't have to rub it in.
Why, Yes! I do think you're a Wanker!
