You did not almost wheelie one under acceleration alone. It's a low 13 second car with a fucking fantastic driver behind the wheel.

It did look like the driver was looking to bolt, though.

left stock they are a little tame. potential is huge. plus everytime i saw one i didn't even recognize it till i really looked. sleeper. gm fucked up a good chance at a great car. if it had come along a little later it would have nice to see what would have been done with it seeing the high hp #'s in the camaro and mustang.

Well the LS based motor is a great platform but the car was just odd. They went with IRS but it handled like a sled, why not go with a solid rear and get something that'll launch well. The outside is big an bulky yet the interior was not so much. It was weird, you'd figure it would be spacious with exterior size. I dunno, I was an Fbody guy so maybe I'm just mad they killed my car and replaced it with something that did nothing well.

yeah i see your point. you can make an irs car launch its just more work. i've seen vette's be able to launch. little hard on parts. f-body's didn't set the road course on fire in stock form ether. springs, struts, bigger sway bars etc are needed on most stock cars.
