Gotta be a popular subject and may already have been posted. But I'm shopping for a leather suit. Not sure if I want a 1 piece or a 2 piece. Looking at spending under $1000.00. I need something that will work well for the street as well as the occasional Trackday. Size is going to a problem for me I think. At 5'7" , 130#'s with a 29" waist, I have trouble finding a dress suit, never mind a leather racing suit. Mail order catalogs charge a 20% restocking fee that I'd like to avoid....
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated....
I still love the smell of burnt racing fuel in the morning!
I have an old two peice zip together suit that is in perfect condition. It should fit you if you want to consider used.

We have a bunch of NEW Dainese suits. A $1300.00 suit is now going for about $800.00.
Putting his hands in the air, like he just doesn't care.

If the majority of use is for the street, go with a two piece. It'll still be good enough for the occasional track day too. I have a two piece Vanson that held up incredibly well in a horrific street accident. Saved my arse...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
i agree a 2 piece is much better for the street ., and even for the trackdays... ...
