Hey all,
I have a bike that I had to swap the exhaust on from stock to "performance exhaust".
It's a 90 kz1000, but I just had the carbs rebuilt last spring, so everything should be fine there.
I think it needs to be rejetted to account for the new exhaust, can anyone give me a lead on someone to talk to about this?
Go up a clip on the needles and up a size or two on the jets to be safe. If when you close the throttle it backfires you need to go up a size on the idle jets. NESR's, am I correct?
pm me info on my shop in Ashland. ive got a Kawasaki certified mechanic that could easily tune it for you.
