Got one for a birthday present. Eager to try it out. Anyone else have one?
I'm really looking forward to being able to ride while I'm on-call, and to be able to listen to tunes. Thinking about a Zumo 220 now too.
I've got the Q2 and I really like it, although the FM radio is useless.
The bluetooth phone function works very well.
Q2 user here. I have a paired set.
I like em a lot, but the FM sucks like Ted says and it's super weird talking on the phone while riding. I almost ALWAYS pull over shortly after picking up and I rarely ever initiate a call while riding unless it's going to be a very quick conversation.
I don't use em much for tunes but I will on occasion.

I'm looking for something that I can listen to FM in my helmet on rides to work - what do you guys recommend?

But seriously, you could probably just plug a different FM reciever into a Scala Rider with the cable thats provided.

I have a set of G4s and they rock. I pair mine with my GPS and/or my phone. Both have mp3 players. So I get tunes, directions, no missed calls, and I get to chat with my lovely wife when we're two-up touring.

People almost invariably arrive at their beliefs not on the basis of proof but on the basis of what they find attractive.

ted how comfy is the q2 inside your helmet? I just think that with my Arai the lack of space around the ears might get uncomfortable.

I had the Q2 and now I have the Q4 and either set is excellent. I have never had issues with either of them. I only updated to the Q4 for the longer range and the ability to stream music, I enjoy listening on the early ride to work.
I have run them both in my Arai's and if you are strategic about the speaker placement you won't even know they are there. I have done many miles in one sitting with no interference at all.
If any one has interest in a Q2 let me know I have mine that I am not using. I could get you a pair, I would just need to talk to my buddy and see if he still has his Q2.

I'm sold on the Scala now.

Q2 here...love that thing. except now I only have one cause my buddy who had the other one, is gone. so, can it be paired up with someone that has another one?
Yes you can pair up with any Q2 or Q4.

Got it all installed and tested today. The FM reception could be better (as others have stated), but it works great with my mobile phone and voice commands and has enough volume to be easily heard through earplugs. I'm very pleased.

Have the Q4 on my helmet. The only regret I had after installing the set was listening to the ex bitch when she thought I was doing something crazy.
Enjoy.
sorry slightly off topic but I use my iphone for tunes with Pandora for streaming radio - it even works through the tunnels in Boston without dropping out - no phone calls though.
