Sheppo, I hit a deer about this time a couple years ago over on Country Rd (next to the Academy) by the transfer station. Bastard came right out of the swamp and t-boned me.

The other day a brown bear ran crossed the road and then came through my yard. Almost got to him with the 30-30, gone before i got back

I know that road well. The road I was on was in South Chelmsford, Proctor Rd. I also had one last year jump out on Rt 40 next to the DD at about 5:30am. How messed up did you and the bike get? I have seen a few bike/deer accidents and they aint pretty. Wish you got the bear.. that would be some good eatin too

I Find it strange that both times I've had a deer run into me was broad daylight and everyone warns of dawn and dusk as bad times. Just keep your eyes peeled at ALL hours of the day is what I'm saying.
With that said, I did hit one July 2 of this year going about 45-50. With shit luck I somehow drove right through it's rear end while staying upright and ripping my front fender off. My front tire was also covered with deer fur for a few miles after that!

Brown Bears (Grizzlys) range into Wyoming and Montana. And the REALLY BIG Brown Bears such as Kodiaks, are found mostly within 50 miles of the Alaskan coastline....

lookn fkn brown to me. how about if i tell you it was the same as the one from The Great Outdoors! light black? either, way it was a damn bear in a residential neighborhood.

pics from the deer accident are on my other computer. all the fairings were demo'd and the whole front cowl was hanging. Insurance ended up totalling it.
