CBR929RE's race bike paint...

here are a few pics of CBR929RE's Honda CBR race bike..

Brett brought his body work by earlier this week with a couple photos of a Honda Fireblade.. so even though the body was shaped a bit different we were eager to tackle this and give the best interpretation we could... well, I spent the entire day locked in the paint booth and did my best... the pics honestly dont give it any justice . The lines are ALL hand laid and in my opinion came out Perfect!! please look at the Picture of the Fireblade bike first.

oh man that's coming out AWESOME. so happy you took the half a second to convince me to do the wings.

one question though, did you do the lower white in front and blue on the back section? what happened to going blue on the bottom part of it and white above that?

I just checked my message from Degsy. I don't think I want a silver pin stripe. if any pinstripes, blue around the front plate and red around the back would be good. but they don't have to be done unless you really feel it really needs them.

Yes. The lower was painted blue/ white. The wings were a challenge but believe your getting your money's worth. The photos unfortunately dont show the true colors. You'll be blown away for sure.

It really couldn't be a dignified CBR without the wings. Those wings are an excellent display of craftsmanship on your part - they look beautiful!!

Yeah, I think that's a good idea. The better the paint job, the bigger the pavement magnet.... and that's one big pavement magnet!
