Hey guys,
I have a harbor freight trailer with 12" wheels/tires. I will be towing one bike weighing about 400 lbs wet. What tire pressure should I run?
Sorry, new to trailering so looking for wisdom. The tire itself says 780 lbs max load at 60 psi. Little confused.
Take the weight of the trailer, plus the bike, divide by number of wheels and that'll tell you the load per tire. Load per tire should not exceed the rating of the tire, and if you're close to the number, you want to run the psi listed. I normally run 50psi just as a baseline FYI.
