A buddy of mine has a Scorpion helmet, and he picked up this little piece of neoprene style fabric that attaches to the underside of the chin area of his helmet to reduce wind noise.
I can't figure out what the hell it's called, or where I can get one that fits my Arai, but every time I remember to look, I also remember how well it cut wind noise and how much I want one.
Anyone know what the hell I'm talking about, and possibly where to get one?
Attached is a craptastic photoshop of where it'd go.
Which model Arai helmet do you have?
the only normal people are the ones you don't know very well.
some helmet manufacturers call it a chin curtain
I have a Vector (xl if it matters).![]()

Read you directions.
It is built into your helmet.
Pull down on the front once it is on.
Oh you mean more than what it comes with.
Not an Arai part.
The one built into my helmet is about 1/4" long. I actually had to look to see if it was even there, heh.
How about something like this?

Yes, unfortunately the Vector model doesn't have the pull out chin curtain.
