I think it's one of those things that you have to be comfortable with, then you will sware by it. I regularly up and downshift with no clutch and I show every one I ride with how nice it is if they don't do it. On the track though, with my limited experience, I use the clutch downshifting in most cases.

I do it all the time (street). The only thing I use the clutch for is downshifting, starting/stopping, and sometimes if I'm just farting around. I'd say 80% of my upshifts are done without the clutch...

Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
rode 2 stroke dirtbikes for a long time and have to make a mental note to avoid the habit of keeping a finger or 2 on the clutch lever. though i don't fan it like i'm riding a 125 in the whoops.
