looking to put a buell xbr12 oil cooler on my 97 yamaha v-max. was wondering if any of the buell owners here knew the size of the fittings needed to make new lines. it looks to be 3/8, but i'm not sure if its american standard threads or bsp? any help would be appreciated.
thanks odieoh24

It's a nice group of guys from what I've seen. Someone should know what you need.
Hope that helps!

I think it's American sized. Everything around the engine and body on the air cooled Buells tend to be American sized. Everything else is usually metric. (what a pain in the ass when you are trying to find the right size wrench)
yup i'd bet if it's on the engine it's american thread... like erick said buells are a mish mosh of metric and standard bits. engine parts are usually standard. as far as the size i can't say. i only have experiance with pre-oil cooler buells.
