how many cords need to show before I change the rear tire?

The dew point temperature is much more meaningful than the relative humidity.

This is my second tire of the season. The center keeps getting flat. Then again I can not remember the last time I drove the truck into work including all this rain we got. Racking up some miles taking the bike to NJ and NY for work.

Did you change out the winter air for summer air?
You're suppose to change tires?
If you wrap some black tape around the tire (make sure to use at least 2 layers for safety) you can buy yourself at least another 100 miles... Don't use duct tape - it won't hold up under the stress...

For every action there is an equal but opposite reaction - and sometimes a scar...
Actually I do wrap the front and rear rims with electrical tape and sprinkle baby powder on the tubes before installing. It seems to make the tubes last a lot longer. Maybe wrong thread to post in, this post should be in the dirty section!!!

Oh, don't worry about them cords, just ride them 'til the air inside starts to show.
when the air starts to show, the tire will probably get flat on the bottom, you'll have to take the tire off and flip the round side down
