Tow companies are better than insurance companies anyday.

As far as i know police officers can be on the side of the road or behind bushes/underpasses, etc. without thier parking lights on for 15 minute increments.
This very well could just be a rumor, Which is why i never said it was 100%..but thats what I have heard

well i went to the clerk in Brockton.
There was a Statie in there and he read the charges.
I presented my side of the case. Mentioned the military in there somewhere.
The Clerk asked the Statie what he thought, and he replied that I have a pretty good driving record, and said that he recommends a continuence until February and then all the charges will be dropped because of my service to the country. The clerk agreed. Shook there hands, off I went.
So, I now have to be very careful how I drive/ride. Good thing is From October 5th-March 19th Ill be training with the army and not driving.
So worked out well.![]()
congrats dude![]()
good for you, they say hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
(and degsy, most don't have a gavel, but some do- like where I work- but everyone knows what you mean when you say it.)
thanks guys
and no thats the only time i got pulled over and didnt because i left it in my ACU (Army Combat Uniform) front pocket the day before because I had to go to fort devens and it was SOP at my unit
yea I mean i want to be a cop so i want a clear record
That's your take on it. Some people, including many Chiefs of Police, do not necessarily agree with you on that point. *avoiding adding my personal point of view on the matter*
ummm.... nope. Police can sit just about anywhere they want for however long they want with no lights, no sirens, no nothin.
CONGRATS!

Huzzah! Its always awesome to have the charges dropped although you do have the probationary period but still. A clean driving record goes a long way too.
