Along with police officers no longer need to have parking lights on at all times while sitting on the side of the road
They should be required to keep the blue emergency lights and sirens on at all times parked, moving, at dunkin doughnuts when hiding in the bushes, etc. The best way to patrol is to have a prescence and let it be known.

As far as i know police officers can be on the side of the road or behind bushes/underpasses, etc. without thier parking lights on for 15 minute increments.

This very well could just be a rumor, Which is why i never said it was 100%..but thats what I have heard

Re: Going to Court Tommorow for my first Ticket

well i went to the clerk in Brockton.

There was a Statie in there and he read the charges.

I presented my side of the case. Mentioned the military in there somewhere.

The Clerk asked the Statie what he thought, and he replied that I have a pretty good driving record, and said that he recommends a continuence until February and then all the charges will be dropped because of my service to the country. The clerk agreed. Shook there hands, off I went.

So, I now have to be very careful how I drive/ride. Good thing is From October 5th-March 19th Ill be training with the army and not driving.

    So worked out well.

Did you hand him your military ID along with your license when he pulled you over? Some of my buddies in the military have gotten pulled over and whatnot and hand over both IDs. That usually solves the "problem" right there.

That's your take on it. Some people, including many Chiefs of Police, do not necessarily agree with you on that point. *avoiding adding my personal point of view on the matter*

Huzzah! Its always awesome to have the charges dropped although you do have the probationary period but still. A clean driving record goes a long way too.
