I need a weather proof cover for my bike for the next few weeks. What do you guys recommend for a reasonable price?

I can resist everything but Pete's mom.
Dowco makes a real good one and for the $$$$ its worth it...

if it is just a few weeks then the wal mart covers will be fine, I had one and it stays waterproof for about 2 months, then it just lets the water through.... I am also in the market for a new cover....
I don't think it's waterproof Alex but WallyWorld had some for like $30
on the Wal-Mart cover; had it for about a year and a half, still like new...on the bike right now, matter of fact.
It does get kinda soggy in the heavy stuff, but the area right over the controls/headlight has extra layers of material to prevent it from soaking through. So far so good (knocking on wood)...![]()
I've used the Dowco and Nelson Rigg covers. Both worked very well.
I also used the Dowco's lifetime warranty without a problem. Just make sure to keep your receipt!
I'll check it when I'm there today, but I'm concerned with water spots. The bike is black and if I wash it and I have to leave it outside cause I'm not riding cause it's raining I'm gonna be pissed. It's hard enough as is to keep it pretty.
Basically my Stepdad needs the garage free during the day. So the days I'm gonna leave it at home are the days it will be raining and he needs the garage open. Suck bag situation.
Thanks for the input!

I've never had an issue with water spots with either cover. Then again my bike wasn't black, so I could have just missed them.
I just got a Dowco cover 2 weeks ago and it has rained around 8 out of 10 days since and that thing is a champ. Definitely recommend and New Enough has it for a good price.
I had a Nelson Rigg, I think it was called the defender. It was very nice and allowed a little bit of breathing as well. It worked great until someone stole it...
