Ok, everyone who has contacted a seller because of this thread, fess up!

Not quite, but I did recently rescue a most abused and neglected CL refugee. Flat tires with knobs ripped off and tubes full of fix-a-flat, "chain" with enough slack to lift right off the sprocket, gooey electrical tape "grips", several gallons of the finest premix varnish, rear rotor that had eaten through the pad backing plate to the piston, forks that no longer leaked oil because it was all congealed on the rotor/pads, mouse eaten air filter that was sucked into the carb, zip tie pipe hangers, kickstarter retained by a finger tight farmer nut, seized power valve, sloppy wheel bearings, broken plastics, bent pipe that won't seal, shifter and brake/clutch lever all bent to shit, petcock that don't cock, float needle that won't seat so the motor is hydrolocked whenever it sits.

But I got it cheap.

I dunno, for that kinda effort compared to the cost of one in half-way decent shape, you might need to be paid to take it for the math to make sense.

Here's another one that is a sad amalgamation of someone's fantasy: CB 1100 Chopper '83 Ugly as dirt.

The motor is out of a one-year only bike, 1983 CB1100F Super Sport. It could have spent the rest of its years in a better place.
