First
Oil in gas mix..
Add 1 to 2 oz per gallon of motor oil (2 stroke nicer) in the gas and you will get after 50 miles ( it takes that long to coat everything).*
Smoother operation less vibration and noise
Noticeably improved gas mileage like 10 to 15%
Somewhat higher power just barely noticeable
Allegedly longer valve and valve guide and piston ring life.
* Not during break in so say after 2500 miles and unknown result with cat converter though can't believe 1 oz would be noticeable.

Your brake rotors are coated with black spooge. Road grime, tar, oil from gravel oil roads etc. Use brake clean or carb cleaner on a rag or paper towel and clean them. You will regain 1 finger braking. There are oil coated roads in NH and Vt where 1 pass down them is enough to coat your rotors.
Don't listen to the crazy old coot![]()

Yikes.
I have yet to try a can of NOS in the tank, so I'll pass on this till after I try that first.
I'm thinking sugar free NOS, don't wanna make my girl get fat...I just want the extra 50 hp![]()
Two-stroke oil. I use a 6.3 oz container every fill-up in the 1990 Cadillac. It supposedly lubricates and compensates for the ethanol. Helps the pump, the F.I. rails, the injectors. Costs a couple of bucks a bottle, I buy a case of 24 for around 1.75/bottle at Home Depot.
My 2002 Bandito owner's manual says ethanol @ 90/10 is no problem, so until I see different, I'm going with it. Nonetheless, I dumped a small bag of Sta-bil in the tank and ran the bike up and down Colt's Neck to get the stuff in the carbs the other night before I left to come back up here. Like old Dutch Reagan used to say, "Trust, but verify".
