So I got a little tear in my seat this winter (the vinyl got so cold it became brittle) and I was going to send it to sargent to recover and improve the foam and shape. Then I saw on their website that they make the World Sport Performance seat for my bike and it looks very nice. The world sport seat is $400 and I think getting my seat redone will be somewhere between $200 and $300. Anybody have experience with the world sport seat? Is it worth the extra $100+ over getting my original seat redone and improved? I'm not super keen on spending the extra money, but if it's a big improvement now's the time to do it. I intend to do some hardcore touring and long trips this season, so I am willing to spend the extra money for a really good seat. Thanks guys!
I'd talk to these guys:

They are local, your seat will be fixed really fast, and if you ever want the shape adjusted they'll do it for free (or at least they used to).
Hm, interesting, I'll have to give them a call, thanks
