Eh, you get used to it. NYC is 10x worse!
But on that note, can't wait to get out of here and get up to Camp Meade!
Vermont, here I come!
Cheers,
Chris
But when we ride very fast motorcycles, we ride with immaculate sanity. We might abuse a substance here and there, but only when it's right. The final measure of any rider's skill is the inverse ratio of his preferred Traveling Speed to the number of bad scars on his body. It is that simple: If you ride fast and crash, you are a bad rider. If you go slow and crash, you are a bad rider. And if you are a bad rider, you should not ride motorcycles.
Hohum,
I've seen your bike, sweet. My office is at 99 High St. when I am there. I will be in Quincy at a client working for a few weeks and maybe we can get together for an after work ride. I usually park mine near a bike rack, next to my building off the street. But the bitches started complaining so I may have to find a new place when I am in the office. BTW, for those of you who have never ridden in town, there is nothing like a loud pipe and no traffic in the TW tunnel. 14 billion for a nice echo, how can we complain.

I don't mind the city so much - it's the parking lot that is 93 going into the city that really gives me trouble. But it beats the $6 one way commuter rail...I'm guaranteed about 2 hours on the bike every dayOriginally posted by Nikon

But yeah if you guys work around/near Chinatown and wanna ride some day let me know. I'm right next to South Station on Summer St.

I thought the jacket was dirty, but the Black explains it.
I was passing thru to the Cape after mailing stuff at Fort Point.
I was like: hey I wonder if he's a NESR lister.

No way dude...Storrow drive is like a race track...I love dodging cars in traffic....the hightened level of attention needed to rip the city streets with all the traffic, pedestrians, potholes, Big Dig shit, is a big adrenaline rush for me! Its my way of being squid I guess....I like the city for a change of pace....of course I'd rather be racing on a track, but can't afford it, money wise. So for the adrenaline fix, ........Originally posted by Nikon

I still love the smell of burnt racing fuel in the morning!
heh, I was cutting over to Atlantic a few weeks ago when I spotted that and snagged a pic on my camera phone, I'll see if I can dig it up, damn convenient spot I say, I typically do about 26$ a day for parking in that part of townOriginally posted by OreoGaborio

but yous crazy. Me hitting one of those potholes could be devastating. Why do I remember Storrow Dr being in good shape? Must be cause I haven't been on it in several years. I see the racing and dodging and shit but I remember it smooth.....That was in a car for work when I was younger though so I may hjust not have noticed it. I remember goin to Cambridge on Mass Ave from south to north thinkin "how the fuck do people do this everyday". annd this was in a cage. Those railrods tracks by the hospital - you go in at the hospital and come out at fuckin berkley. Poor cars that do that everyday....I couldn't imagine that shit on a bike. I'd blow the tires and warp the rims....I'm just too acustom to up here now...and I like thatOriginally posted by trackdog

this is the little island right on the edge of china town by 93 right? I always drive right by that on my way outta work...doesn't look too easy to get things on/off there!Originally posted by somestrangeguy

yeah, that's exactly where it is.... it's not too tough to get on & off... there's like 3 little ramps for wheelchairs to get up & on it, so a bike is no problem. and if traffic is your concern, it's not that difficult to deal w/Originally posted by craig
